Next visit Essaouira, The journey comes to a close in Marrakech, home of the colorful souks, beautiful castles, and exciting street entertainment.     10 Days in Morocco Tour from Fes Itinerary

    Day 1: Arrival in Fes

    Upon arrival at Fes International Airport, our driver guide will be waiting to Welcome you. Plus, he’ll drive you to the riad, where you may spend your first night and have breakfast, in this beautiful nation.


    Day 2: Sightseeing tour with a local guide

    Start a sightseeing tour of the city of Fes, with its rich cultural history and picturesque mediaeval architecture. Embark on a captivating sightseeing tour that will take you to numerous picturesque locations. Begin your exploration outside the medina to marvel at the intricate Royal Palace gates. Stop by a zellij tile cooperative to learn about the ancient Fasis techniques used to make the famous Moroccan mosaics. Then, take in the panoramic view at Borj Nord.

    Discover the old Medina!

    See the world’s oldest medina, Fes el-Bali, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, and its winding alleys later on during your tour to the Medina. Explore the Chouara district’s tanneries and the world-renown Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque, which is also home to the oldest continuously running university in the world. Overnight stay in the same Riad.


    Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Ziz Valley – Sahara Desert of Merzouga

    From Fes, you will be picked up by one of our knowledgeable tour guides and drive to the Sahara Desert via Ifrane, which is renowned as the “little Switzerland of Morocco.” Nestled in the Middle Atlas Mountains, this picturesque town offers stunning views. We continue by going to the Cedar Forest, where wild Barbary macaques live. Here you may feed the monkeys, but be cautious not to spill anything on them. Taking pictures here is a must; the setting is wonderful.

    Next stop is the Ziz valley, where you will be greeted by some of Morocco’s biggest oasis and a stunning scene of thousands of palm trees. Our journey to the magnificent Sahara Desert will continue thereafter. When we arrive, you’ll be able to experience the true essence of the desert as you sleep under a traditional Berber tent and ride a camel over the beautiful sand dunes.


    Day 4: Merzouga Desert Excursion (Visit Nomads, Gnawa, Oasis)

    It is essential to wake early in order to see the breathtaking dawn over the expansive desert environment. After a usual breakfast in camp, we will begin our tour of the desert. We depart from the camp and make our way to the renowned Gnawa settlement, home to the famous dark-skinned inhabitants of Merzouga who have come from places like Mali, Senegal, South Africa, and more. They have formed a basic organization and begun performing music for visitors to the area. Having spent some time with them and found the African rethemes to be enjoyable to listen to.

    We tip them and then go to Mefiss, a free mountain that the French inhabited while they were protecting Morocco. Minerals used to make eyeliner, mascara, and countless other cosmetics are mined on the mountain. Then, on to the nomadic family that reside behind Merzouga’s Erg Chebbi dunes, where they may have a refreshing drink in the comfort of their handmade tent. Once again, we’re taking a leisurely walk through a desert oasis to investigate the vegetation and water sources. Make your way to the hotel for the night as the day comes to a close.


    Day 5: Merzouga Desert – Rissani – Todgha Gorge – Dades Gorge 

    After enjoying breakfast in your Desert Camp, we will set out on our trip to Boumalne Dades, passing via the breathtaking Todgha Gorge. A beautiful river winds its way between two mountains, causing the pulse to race and the eyes to be captivated by the enchantment and splendor of nature. It goes without saying that the gorge is stunningly beautiful, and the kind and helpful locals just add to the enchantment of the area. The next stop should be in Dades Gorge, one of Morocco’s breathtaking gorges. This place is as beautiful as it is intriguing. We will also stop at Monkey’s Finger Mountain to get some breathtaking scenery photographs. At last, we transfer you to your riad where you will spend the night.


    Day 6: Boumalne Dades – Ouarzazate – Ait ben Haddou Kasbah – Tizi N Tichka – Marrakech – airport transfer

    It’s time to move west to Marrakech. Our journey begin from Boumalne Dades and drive to Ouarzazate Known as “Hollywood of Africa”. A renowned movie town that is a mere century old. Because of the hundreds of movies and TV shows that have been filmed here, it is both contemporary and renowned. Next, we continue to Ait ben Haddou Kasbah, a historical relic that has been recognized as a World Heritage site since 1987. Feel free here to explore every inch of this breathtaking Kasbah. Free time for lunch, then we continue to Marrakech but after one last stop in Tizi N’Tichka pass in the Middle of the High Atlas Mountains. Upon arrival, we will Transfer you to the Riad for Overnight.


    Day 7: Sightseeing Tour in Marrakech City

    After a delicious breakfast, we will set off on an adventure to see the wonders of Marrakech, often known as the Red City. With an extensive local knowledge guide, he will ensure your safety while revealing the ins and outs of Marrakech’s Medina and its environs. Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, the ben Youssef Quranic Mosque, and the University are What you will discover today. 


    Day 8: Marrakech – Essaouira

    The charming little town is situated three hours outside of Marrakech. People looking to escape the mayhem of Marrakech often go to the area named by Essaouira. Considering its rich history, beautiful beaches, and glittering medina. We will make stops along the route to explore and take in the breathtaking scenery. At a small woman’s cooperative that specializes in producing argan oil, amlou, honey, and many more products, we will make our last stop before arriving at Essaouira. We will later drop you off to a fantastic riad where you may spend the night. However, there is still plenty of time to explore the old town’s narrow alleyways and walls.


    Day 9: Free Day in Essaouira

    You are free to peruse the local wares—from fresh seafood to traditional arts and crafts—as you like today. The Skala de la Ville, a castle built in the 18th century that overlooks the ocean in all directions, is one of several historical sites housed inside the medina. You will be enchanted by the sights, sounds, and fragrances of this lively market town as you meander around the medina. In addition, Essaouira is mostly known for its beautiful coastline, so be sure to visit it. Sunbathers, swimmers, and fans of water sports flock to the town for its extensive sandy beaches. Wind and kite surfing are popular activities due to the high winds that blow along the shore. Whether you’re new to surfing or have been on a few times, Essaouira has the beaches for you.


    Day 10: Marrakech Airport Transfer
