From Fes, you will be picked up by one of our knowledgeable tour guides and drive to the Sahara Desert via Ifrane, which is renowned as the “little Switzerland of Morocco.” Nestled in the Middle Atlas Mountains, this picturesque town offers stunning views. We continue by going to the Cedar Forest, where wild Barbary macaques live. Here you may feed the monkeys, but be cautious not to spill anything on them. Taking pictures here is a must; the setting is wonderful.
Next stop is the Ziz valley, where you will be greeted by some of Morocco’s biggest oasis and a stunning scene of thousands of palm trees. Our journey to the magnificent Sahara Desert will continue thereafter. When we arrive, you’ll be able to experience the true essence of the desert as you sleep under a traditional Berber tent and ride a camel over the beautiful sand dunes.
It is essential to wake early in order to see the breathtaking dawn over the expansive desert environment. After a usual breakfast in camp, we will begin our tour of the desert. We depart from the camp and make our way to the renowned Gnawa settlement, home to the famous dark-skinned inhabitants of Merzouga who have come from places like Mali, Senegal, South Africa, and more. They have formed a basic organization and begun performing music for visitors to the area. Having spent some time with them and found the African rethemes to be enjoyable to listen to.
We tip them and then go to Mefiss, a free mountain that the French inhabited while they were protecting Morocco. Minerals used to make eyeliner, mascara, and countless other cosmetics are mined on the mountain. Then, on to the nomadic family that reside behind Merzouga’s Erg Chebbi dunes, where they may have a refreshing drink in the comfort of their handmade tent. Once again, we’re taking a leisurely walk through a desert oasis to investigate the vegetation and water sources. Make your way to the hotel for the night as the day comes to a close.
After enjoying breakfast in your Desert Camp, we will set out on our trip to Boumalne Dades, passing via the breathtaking Todgha Gorge. A beautiful river winds its way between two mountains, causing the pulse to race and the eyes to be captivated by the enchantment and splendor of nature. It goes without saying that the gorge is stunningly beautiful, and the kind and helpful locals just add to the enchantment of the area. The next stop should be in Dades Gorge, one of Morocco’s breathtaking gorges. This place is as beautiful as it is intriguing. We will also stop at Monkey’s Finger Mountain to get some breathtaking scenery photographs. At last, we transfer you to your riad where you will spend the night.
It’s time to move west to Marrakech. Our journey begin from Boumalne Dades and drive to Ouarzazate Known as “Hollywood of Africa”. A renowned movie town that is a mere century old. Because of the hundreds of movies and TV shows that have been filmed here, it is both contemporary and renowned. Next, we continue to Ait ben Haddou Kasbah, a historical relic that has been recognized as a World Heritage site since 1987. Feel free here to explore every inch of this breathtaking Kasbah. Free time for lunch, then we continue to Marrakech but after one last stop in Tizi N’Tichka pass in the Middle of the High Atlas Mountains. Upon arrival, we will Transfer you to the Riad for Overnight.
After a delicious breakfast, we will set off on an adventure to see the wonders of Marrakech, often known as the Red City.
